- More edits have been made to the Rules, including a standardized mature topic title marker.
- The Rule changes also include the banning of embedded content, including Flash and Javascript applets. Members have one week to remove existing embedded content before it is manually pruned from the board.
- The Staff page has also been reorganized.
19th August: "Excessive powerplay or godmoding" has been added to the list of bannable offenses because for some reason it wasn't there already! :o

    A Forewarning
        Like anywhere else, we have rules to follow if you want to play here. In the amount of time we have been around, there have been few instances of anyone breaking the rules. Let's keep it that way!

    Section I: Conduct and Courtesy
    1. Disrespect or harassment to any member of 'Souls will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Remember your manners; we're all adults in here. You are free to disagree with people, but if you can't say something kindly, then kindly don't say anything at all.
    2. No drama. We are here to roleplay, and most of us tire of drama very, very quickly. Either keep it off of the board or don't bother at all.
    3. All threads containing mature or explicit content MUST be marked with "M" at the beginning of the title, like thus: "M - topic title here." The first post of the thread should also contain a more detailed warning explaining the type of content included within. Templates and a more detailed explanation of what constitutes as "mature" or "explicit" can be found here. Mature content in profiles should also be marked. Mature content is prohibited in character names, avatars, and signatures.

    Section II: Characters
    1. Your character cannot have radical attributes (wings, extra limbs, unnaturally-coloured fur). Your character can have mild modified attributes (piercings, dyed fur, tattoos); however, modifications must be realistic. No naturally pink or blue wolves please.
    2. Only creatures of the genus Canis can shift. Period.
    3. Your character cannot have magical or supernatural abilities such as telepathy or elemental control.
    4. Your character's history cannot involve humans.
       
    Section III: Graphics
    1. Tables and signatures should not stretch the table.
    2. Artwork by artists other than yourself must be credited either in your signature or in your board profile. Please make sure the artist allows use of their artwork as avatars or in noncommercial graphics!
    3. If possible, try to credit photographers or photographic sources as well. They're artists too! However, we understand that sources for photos are harder to keep track of/organize and credit is not mandatory.
    4. Embedded content is not allowed on the forum. This includes, but is not limited to, Flash or Javascript applets, other video content, and music players. You may link to such content, but you may not embed it.
    5. You may not have more than ten total adoptable characters from any adoptable pet website on any part of the board, including a maximum of five in your forum signature, five in your forum profile, and any individual topics.

    Section IV: Activity
    1. Members must make an in character post within five days following their acceptance.
    2. Members are expected to post once every three weeks with their characters. After this point, they will be warned and given a time to make a post. If a member fails to reply or does not make an In Character post, the character will be removed from the ranks. (Note: accounts are not deleted, so members are free to rejoin later).
    3. If you will be absent between four days and four weeks, please post in the absentee list notifying us of this. If you do not let anyone know, you risk being removed for inactivity!

    Section V: Punishments
    1. Most of the time, the 'Souls Assemblage will issue multiple warnings to those who violates the rules. A warning will usually come via Private Message or, in rarer instances, by email. In some severe cases, bans may be instated without prior warning.
    2. Banning. We will generally ban, or suspend, people for set amounts of time -- a week, a month, several months -- but we have also banned members permanently. The length of a ban depends entirely on the offense and the severity. When banned, members will receive an emailing containing the details and reasoning behind the ban, as well the date and time the ban expires (if it does). If banned, you may, of course, appeal to the 'Souls Assemblage.
    3. Warn-able and bannable offenses include: 
      1. Severe disrespect or harassment to any member.
      2. Excessive powerplay or godmoding.
      3. Post thievery or post-recycling.
      4. Image and graphic theft.
      5. Flooding the forums.
      6. Playing multiple characters without permission.
      7. Purposefully being deceitful to members and staff.
      8. Repetitive refusal to follow the rules.
