Xeris comes from an area in Maine known to its canine inhabitants as Heritage Retreat, born into a pack in which all members adopted the last name "de Heritage." Xeris technically dropped this surname upon her banishment, though she has passed it to her daughter out of respect for her mother, the one who had tried to get her to stay.

Xeris' fur is mostly pure white, but this darkens to splotches of a grayish color along her back and the tip of her tail. Her eyes are a bright gold; she inherited them from her mother. She is very slim and small-built. In optime she is rather tall, but still slim. In this form she has rather short, white-colored hair that reaches her shoulders and falls as parted bangs on her face.


On her muzzle, near her eyes, there are teeth marks, one on each side. There is also a large bite mark on the lower end of her right foreleg. Her biggest scar is a long horizontal slash that runs along the left side of her ribcage area. All of these scars are from her fight with Kaena Lykoi.

Her full name is Xeris de Heritage.


Xeris was born into a small pack living in the Maine area. Here there were two main pack groups; one of which had Luperci. The other, smaller pack was purely for normal wolves. In this pack, the wolves became a close family and abandoned their surnames to become a separate community.


The leader of this pack was named Yakuto. He was a firm believer in keeping his promises; he knew that if he wanted to have power then trust was essential. He was, however, eventually blinded by his hubris when his only daughter Xeris was mistakenly attacked by a Luperci of the neighboring pack. Soon afterward she began to show the ability to shift.


Yakuto, in his greed, wanted to keep his promise to his packmates--that they would stay away from human values and the human-like Luperci. Thus, he was forced to banish Xeris, and she spent the next several months wandering and searching for a new place to stay.


The first territory she came upon was Phoenix Valley, and she was accepted into the pack by DaVinci Nasphrite.

When she first arrived in 'Souls territory, Xeris was a lost soul, fearful and shy. However, over time she has grown more confident, particularly since becoming a mother. She is almost always incredibly kind unless provoked. Xeris enjoys the company of others and is usually willing to get to know most strangers that she meets. She is fairly intelligent, though often rather naive. She has also been known to frequently get lost, sometimes with disastrous results. She has a particular soft spot for children since her motherhood, and has been known to show motherly or sisterly caring for youngsters.
